Where You Can’t Help but Smile
This retired couple began carving in 1994 after finding a stick in Little Dyke, Nova Scotia, which they both agreed looked like a duck. Now, the couple’s favorite carvings include fish, seagulls, lobsters, and whales, and of course, ducks. And They’ve been known to take a “driftwood vacation”, where they travel to search out wood for future carvings.
Their work motto is, “We deal in smiles.” So, go see for yourself! Drop-in and visit them at Sticks and Stones Folk Art, their onsite shop and workshop.
