Rocco Point Chapel & Nature Trail

Rocco Point is the site of the first Acadian Mass celebrated post-deportation. Points of interest include the Rocco Point Chapel, Stations of the Cross, and a boardwalk leading to an observation deck. The area is also an especially rich birding site, as it is surrounded by saltwater.
Location: Ste-Anne-du Ruisseau (from Yarmouth take Hwy. 103 to exit 33, turn R onto Hwy. 308. At the stop, turn L and follow Hwy. 3 to the church at 7317, Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau)
Starting Point: Parking at Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau Church, where a guide is available; walk along Rocco Point Road for 1 kilometer to the trail entrance
