Take a Walk Through Acadian Time

A unique experience in an authentic Acadian community founded in 1653. At Musée des Acadians des Pubnicos et Centre de Recherche, you’ll discover Acadian history and culture through collections of artifacts and an Acadian homestead built circa 1864.

Some of the features include an aboiteau (300-year-old Acadian drainage system), heritage garden, research and genealogy center, and maps and original land grants for the area from the late 1700s. Plus, programs, demonstrations, and events are scheduled throughout the summer.
