The Firefighters’ Museum of Nova Scotia features a rare collection of firefighting equipment and memorabilia, including one of Canada’s oldest steam pumpers, an 1863 Amoskeag. There are also examples of almost every type of fire engine ever used in Nova Scotia, and many smaller items — from antique toy fire engines to patches and badges from fire departments around the world.
