Boatskeg Distilling Co. is a distillery located in Southwest Nova Scotia, focused on premium spirits and craft cocktails.

Our distillery location consists of a cocktail bar and retail store with a picturesque view of the Pubnico Harbour. Come down and have one of our signature cocktails and buy one of our bottles to take home with you!

Our Story

It all began when two local friends came up with an idea. One of them had an old abandoned boat shop, the other a descendant of bootleggers. Together, they combined their bootlegging and boatbuilding heritage and created a craft distillery from an old boatyard.
