The Golden Forest Lodge is a small but cute mini resort located directly on the clear Kempt Back Lake in southern Nova Scotia. It consists of a lakeside main house and three independent “tiny” cottages, which are nestled in the middle of naturally grown and sun-drenched mixed forest.

The cottages are sufficiently separated from each other to ensure a maximum of privacy and seclusion for each guest. In fact, each cottage stands on a lot of about 1 hectare, enough space not to be disturbed.

Our offer is mainly addressed to nature and outdoor lovers. To people who want to use their well-deserved and precious vacation days to deepen their own connection to nature, to come down from everyday stress, to do sports, to relax, to drift into the day and maybe looking for a digital detox.

We would be happy to host you during your visit to this exceptionally beautiful part of Canada and assist you in organizing your nature vacation.
